Monitoring of Heavy Metal Pollution in Water and Sediments at the Mid-Black Sea Region by Using Passive Sampling Method Diffusive Gradients in Thin Films

Determining the potential bioavailability of heavy metals, evaluating according to adapted regulations is essential efficiently conserve our coastal and estuarine waters. In this study, it aimed determine industrial pollution various other sources that Black Sea Basin exposed by using DGT (Diffusive Gradients in Thin Films) method grab (manuel) sampling water sediment evaluate existing quality standards. Samsun, seasonal samples were collected from five different stations, namely Akkiraz Stream, Hıdırellez Organized Industrial Zone (OIZ) Channel, Şabanoğlu Stream Selyeri which are selected Tekkeköy region where industry intensively active. order metal content both samples, was chosen for passive used active sampling, efficiency methods evaluated.
